Sirius Application Virtualization engineers are responsible for the design, implementation, and management of application delivery solutions, in conjunction with our storage, networking, and data center teams. The position is also responsible for performing knowledge transfer to customers and pro-actively looking for additional opportunities to help our customers improve their server environments.
Job Responsibilities include:
• Work with Sirius sales team to qualify and scope project opportunities
• Deliver world-class virtualization customer projects, leveraging best practices and best-of-breed technologies
• Interface with IT architects, storage engineers, and networking engineers to architect modern data center solutions
• Translate IT issues and requirements into actionable projects
• Participate in the development of strategic practice initiatives and development of new data center solutions
• Develop strong customer relationships with data center customers in conjunction with Sirius sales teams.
Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing application delivery environments.
Other Position Requirements
• 3 years of experience engineering application delivery solutions preferred
• Citrix CCEE or CCEA certification; CCIA desired
• Citrix CCA certifications in XenApp, XenDesktop, and Provisioning Server helpful.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with Citrix Password Manager, Access Gateway, and Netscaler preferred.
• In-depth experience and expertise with Microsoft AppV and Terminal Server preferred.
 
Essential Functions
• The position exists to provide technical consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis
