We are a bootstrapped startup looking to bring a new web developer on board for a long period of time. Respect is one of the most important values we follow, and seek to build & nourish a long term relationship with the successful candidate.
Hourly pay is low, for now and can only afford $200 per week to the successful candidate. Although, the candidate will be expected to work part time. Moreover, we plan to raise money in March 2021, and given success the successful candidate will receive a bonus of $1,000-$5000 USD dependent on performance. Furthermore, we will take time to reevaluate the hourly pay & offer a promotion.
We are building a custom game using web assembly. In this game, a user can join public rooms. Within a room, the user enters first person view, and they will see other players as boxes in 3D space. The users can move around the room & hear each other via audio. Please refer to attached image for a clearer picture.
You will work with a team to design the client side code, and then execute on those designs. Finally, you will collaborate with multiple folks to design a server that hosts room sessions & its corresponding network functions, then you will execute on those designs.
The web app uses React, so we plan on having the web assembly code imported via [login to view URL]
