Staff Attorney (California Office)
Duties: Will represent public interest environmental organizations in complex environmental and natural resource litigation. This representation includes: formulating litigation strategy; interacting with clients, opposing counsel and the media; drafting and filing court documents; and appearing before courts and administrative bodies. Work with other organization's lawyers and with clinical students in all phases of the administrative process and/or litigation. Participate (remotely) with other organization's staff in weekly class discussion of ongoing cases and ethical and professional responsibilities, will contribute to the organization’s fundraising efforts, and will take part in the organization’s administrative tasks. Will foster cooperative working relationships, collaborate effectively with other organization's attorneys.
