P
roduction Planning
Reviews job packets for feasibility and scheduling Meet with the Project Manager to review the job packet prior to job start.
Site visits
Ongoing evaluation of subcontractors and field staff
Responsible for permit inspections and final closeout with city
Responsible for warranty inspections and punch list completion
Management of Jobs
Responsible for a complete understanding of the job from available verbal and written information including understanding construction documents, specifications, the load-list, and the installation method
Ensures that each job site is visited daily by a company representative to monitor job progress, quality, safety, cleanliness, and site security through the daily progress (software used to track jobs)
Manage job schedules, orders incidental materials, and schedules sub-contractors as needed
Conducts a pre-construction meeting at the start of each job with field staff and sub-contractors
Responsible for daily Job Reports in FCS to project managers and daily overview report to management
Maintains job log for each active job
Conducts regular project review meetings with project managers and customers as needed.
Responsible for change orders: scope & documentation, while working with the project manager to price and communicate with customer
Responsible for punch list and job completion
Financial / Cost Management
Identifies cost concerns in the start-up phase & communicate to the project manager
Tracks actual materials against load-list and coordinates with the project manager
Approves invoices for payment
Supervision
Ensures compliance with all company rules, policies, and agreements including safety
Supervises field staff and subcontractors
Evaluates quality at each production step
Document company procedures and train employees and subcontractors
Communicate sub-contractor & vendor schedules, pricing, and issues with Project Managers daily.
