Customer Literature Technical Writer

Profile

* Develop and author customer literature (owner's manual) information according to company guidelines.* Author customer literature content in company's global authoring database. * Research assigned vehicle content, using all available platform information, including plan books, Engineering Change Request/Decision Notices, mock-up room vehicles, engineering meetings and interaction with Engineering and Marketing teams. * Work with Product Engineering, to ensure vehicle feature text is accurate and complete. * Work with Safety, Legal, and Regulatory Coordinator to identify required safety, legal and regulatory text. * Perform on-vehicle validations to confirm correct vehicle content within the owner's manual. * Review validation findings with team members and Engineering when text issues arise. * Complete all assigned work according to established production schedule. * Complete all assigned work observing all established Customer Literature Team processes.
