Senior Counsel
The candidate will review due diligence and facilitates closings of equity investments. Draft and/or reviews contracts and legal documents such as: partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, leases, purchase agreements, real estate documents, litigation related documents, loan documents. Manage and direct outside counsel in transactional and litigation matters. Studies proposed and existing legislation affecting the Company and advises departments concerned. Prepare corporate resolutions and forms. Must have JD degree required. Must have State bar admission. Must have 3-7 years of experience. Should possess multi-family private equity subject matter expertise, with some knowledge of corporate law, tax law, commercial real estate transactions and housing tax credit transactions.
