Adjunct Faculty—Paralegal
The candidate will provide student centered instruction on a course by course basis. Serve as temporary part-time instructors hired to provide instruction, student advising and student support to students. Work on Instruction, student advising, and student support. Should have Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Studies and relevant experience OR Bachelor's in Pre-law or Legal Studies or similar discipline and relevant experience OR Juris Doctor from an ABA Accredited Law School. Must have 3-5 years recent (within the last 10 years) and continuous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Law Clerk (Associate and Bachelor degree holders only). PAL 170 (Constitutional Law) requires Bachelor's in Political Science or History or similar discipline OR JD degree from an ABA Accredited Law School is needed. PAL 215 (Paralegal Seminar) and PAL 280 (Paralegal Internship) require JD degree from an ABA Accredited Law school OR Certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) or National Association of Legal Professionals (NALS).
