Public Services Librarian Level I
The candidate will substantially contribute to the daily, evening and weekend reference desk services, providing legal reference in person, by telephone, and electronically; As a Law Faculty liaison, expand library support for legal research initiatives by identifying and proactively meeting the faculty's need for scholarly and instructional support and assist with complex legal research projects; Develop research tools and outreach materials in law and related disciplines for students and other patron groups; Participate in collection development by recommending new acquisitions and evaluating existing resources; Work collaboratively within the Library System to provide instruction on legal and law-related information management and retrieval skills, techniques and methods; Participate in Law Library and Library System teams, work groups, and committees; and Actively engage and collaborate in ongoing professional development, achievement and service to the profession.
