The fulfillment of complaint resolution duties will require responding to and investigating internal complaints of discrimination and sexual harassment policy violations from faculty, staff, and/or students; and sexual harassment policy violations when the responding party is an employee. The Assistant Director will conduct interviews, develop appropriate documentation, and prepare recommendations for resolution in consultation with the Director and/or Associate Director. The Assistant Director for ADA/EEO Compliance will also represent OED by serving on university committees, and co-serving as an OED contact and presenter for New Hire Orientation sessions. Will develop and facilitate programs and sessions on ADA/Accessibility/diversity-related topics. Other duties as assigned may include assisting with preparation and maintenance of data related to accommodations, complaints, resolution of workplace issues, and participation in campus outreach and training initiatives as they relate to the duties of the office.
