Internship
Interns will acquire direct practical experience in work under the direct supervision of experienced staff. Will be acquiring organizational knowledge of rules, regulations and processes to supplement academic and theoretical knowledge. Assist with the collection and assembly of evidence, analysis of information and data related to investigations and researching a range of issues related to investigations; Assist with the development and update of OIAI’s standard operating procedures based on applicable best investigative practices and legal developments; Assist in conducting quality assurance reviews of Reports to ensure that the evidence supports the findings; Conduct legal research and analysis of United Nations jurisprudence; Persons with IT interest/abilities will also have access to analytical tools and involvement with digital forensics; Assist in the preparation of analytical reports and related outputs. Speaks and writes clearly and efficiently. Listens to others, correctly interprets messages from others and responds appropriately. Asks questions to clarify, and exhibits interest in having two-way communication. Tailors language, tone, style and format to match the audience.
