Our new Plant 3D Subject Matter Expert will work with AutoCAD Plant 3D, including P&ID, while honing skills in pedagogy, instructional design, script writing, audio narration, video capture, and more.

This position requires the Plant 3D Subject Matter Expert to create structured Excel outlines for additional lesson content. Work with the content team to write narration scripts; record narration audio; capture video for lessons using Camtasia; edit assets with the guidance of the Post-Production team; and provide the Post-Production team a high-quality video file, ready for the post-production process.
Position responsibilities:
• Develop outlines and tracking documentation for the creation of mechanical content.
• Working with the Copy Editor, write narration scripts and challenge questions that conform to internal CADLearning standards.
• Use Camtasia to capture lesson video content from AutoCAD Plant 3D (& P&ID) software.
• Work with the CADLearning content management system to post and update lesson content.
• Provide updates on completions and progress, as well as review and confer with the Post-Production Supervisor for task assignment, feedback, and direction, implementing revisions as required.
• Participate in meetings with fellow Content Team members.
• Manage own time in relation to project deadlines.
• Other duties as agreed upon.
Position Requirements:
• Associate and/or bachelor’s degree in a plant design-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Software / Technology: Hands-on experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D (& P&ID) software. Familiarity with other Autodesk products a plus, including Factory Design Utilities.
• Ability to communicate in English both verbally and written.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make good editing decisions; ability to work independently.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products proficiently, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK REMOTELY.
Preferred Experience:
• 2 years in related field or directly fulfilled responsibilities.
• Experience with audio recording software, preferably Audacity.
• Experience with video recording software, specifically, Camtasia Studio.
• Autodesk Product Certifications.
