The candidate Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses across the paralegal curriculum including legal research and writing, introduction to law for paralegals, and commercial transactions. Will be assigned to carry out administrative responsibilities including assisting the Director of Legal Studies in the preparation of ABA reports, advisement, and placement of paralegal students. Expected to publish scholarship in law reviews and/or peer-reviewed academic journals. Experience working with a diverse range of faculty, staff, and students, and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity are especially welcomed to apply. Must have a JD degree conferred from an ABA-accredited school prior to the appointment start date. Should have 3+ years of practicing law in the United States. Either a minimum of 1 year of experience working with paralegals or experience teaching at least one paralegal education course. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement.
