A law firm seeks an Inventory Attorney for its Complex Litigation group in Tampa, FL. This role involves managing the operational aspects of large-scale tort cases, ensuring seamless execution from pre-filing to post-filing stages. The attorney will work closely with the Chief Operations Counsel and mentor a team of paralegals, ensuring client cases progress efficiently.

Duties

• Manage the full lifecycle of case deadlines, ensuring timely progression.
• Oversee filing readiness, including documentation and strategic case selection.
• Execute discovery workflows and manage compliance across numerous cases.
• Ensure adherence to court rules and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Support motion practice, pleadings, and trial preparation operationally.
• Mentor a team of paralegals and case managers to enhance their performance.
• Maintain a high-quality client experience through effective communication and empathy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience with a J.D.
• Experience in complex or high-volume litigation environments.
• Proficiency in federal and state procedures, including motion practice and discovery.
• Familiarity with CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and ideally Litify.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
