A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join their team in Toms River, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and contribute to the growth of the firm's employment law practice. The position emphasizes strategic litigation and client relationship management, supported by robust resources and infrastructure.

Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and whistleblower claims.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with support staff to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Oversee case-related resources and timelines to ensure efficient case progression.
• Foster meaningful relationships with clients by providing regular updates and empathetic guidance throughout the legal process.
• Stay informed on the latest developments, industry trends, and precedents to inform case strategies and client representation.

Requirements

• Active membership in the New Jersey bar, in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of Employment Law experience.
• Proficiency in independently managing all stages of litigation, from initiation to resolution.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and adeptness in building strong client relationships.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active New Jersey bar membership.
