As a Solutions Architect you will provide enterprise clients technical leadership in the design, implementation, and configuration of Altiris solutions and related technologies. The position requires the ability to be a strategic thinker and execute projects successfully. As a thought leader you'll be expected to implement high-quality technical solutions based on industry best-practices and complex business and technical requirements. Ideal candidates will provide high quality of services for our clients, develop and maintain excellent relationships and maintain a proven track record of success.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in which 3 years must be in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant or engineer.
Strong in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments.
Strong practical Windows systems administration skills.
Excellent knowledge in computer server / desktop architectures.
Extensive experience with systems management concepts, processes and standards
5 years of experience with Altiris NS (Symantec Management Platform).
2 years of experience with the design and implementation of an Altiris infrastructure.
Experience with site server infrastructure design Inventory Solution 7.x, Application Metering, Software Management Solution 7.x, Patch Management Solution 7.x, Deployment Solution for Clients 6.9 and/or 7.x, PC Transplant 7.x , PC Anywhere, Altiris CMS 6.x, Altiris Helpdesk 6.x and/or ServiceDesk 7, Workflow 7.x, Software packaging.
Developing SQL queries and custom reports.
Industry certifications and experience with Symantec, Citrix, VMware, MSFT, and related companies.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training
