Duties

• Manage complex toxic tort and product liability litigation from inception to resolution.
• Handle general liability, wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, and breach of contract/business disputes.
• Develop legal strategies, conduct research, and draft pleadings and motions.
• Manage discovery processes and argue motions in court.
• Attend mediations and participate in trials.
• Collaborate with team members and receive mentorship from experienced partners.

Requirements

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes.
• Current admission to the California State Bar is required.
• Experience in preparing pleadings, discovery, drafting motions, and appearing in court.
• Arbitration and trial experience preferred.
• Experience supervising law clerks and junior associates is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
