Agios is currently seeking an IT professional to provide desktop support and systems administration. The successful candidate should be results-oriented, demonstrate ownership, accountability and initiative and is committed to outstanding customer service every day. In addition to providing desktop support, this position will assist in managing software licensing, internal server, and support the installation and implementation of new software systems.

Daily responsibilities include:
- Maintaining database of inventory of workstations, hardware and software
- Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Assisting in maintaining and troubleshooting of WAN
- Re-imaging and configuration of Windows laptops
- Active Directory user management (adds, edits, permissions, etc.)
- Hardware and software updates and upgrades for both PCs and laptops - dual platform of Windows and MAC
- Participation in IT projects; may lead projects as needed

Ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong experience with: Microsoft Office 2007/2010, MS Exchange/ Outlook 2010, SharePoint, VMware
- Extensive experience supporting and deploying multiple desktop operating systems (Mac OS, Windows XP/Windows 7, Linux and peripherals)
- Experience in hardware support * Desktops, Laptops, Printers, ShoreTel VOIP (or equivalent) Phones, iPad, iPhone and android mobile phones.
- Experience in software support for end users, including but not limited to: Operating systems, Office Suite and Endpoint Security applications
- Strong understanding of Active Directory user functions and WDS
- Experience migrating and/or updating PCs and/or laptop for network configuration
- Knowledge of antivirus software, automation and diagnostic software
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Experience and Education Required
- A minimum 3-5 years of corporate technical support/network support experience ideally in a start-up bio/pharma company environment
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or other related field

This position requires employee to be available for emergency call service on an as needed basis
