Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Litigation team in Texas. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with financial institutions on foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related legal matters. The role involves collaboration with experienced attorneys and requires court-related travel.

Duties

• Represent financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
• Manage case workflow and ensure compliance with client requirements, laws, and court rules.
• Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Attend court hearings both in-person and virtually.
• Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
• Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

Requirements

• Licensed in Texas (required).
• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience working in a role that focuses on litigation.
• Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
• Preferred: Multi-state licensure, bankruptcy or collections experience, federal licensure.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
