Duties

• Manage all phases of asbestos cases, including client meetings, discovery responses, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.



• Conduct detailed research on asbestos exposure, corporate liability, product identification, and industry practices.



• Collaborate with experts in industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, and engineering to support causation and damages.



• Handle corporate and expert depositions, review document productions, and develop liability theories.



• Meet with clients and their families to document exposure history and ensure compassionate representation.



• Stay updated on the latest developments in asbestos litigation, regulations, and scientific studies.

Requirements

• Active license to practice in the State of New York; additional admissions are a plus.



• 5+ years of experience practicing plaintiff-side asbestos litigation.



• Deep understanding of asbestos-related diseases, product identification, and exposure pathways.



• Proven success managing complex asbestos dockets and working with experts to build strong cases for trial.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active New York State Bar License.

Skills

• Expertise in corporate discovery and expert development.



• Strong trial preparation and litigation management skills.



• Ability to work with co-counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
