Job Overview

A law firm seeks a senior-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience focusing on M&A and private equity transactions, with strong skills in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documentation.
• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.
• Collaborate on middle-market deal structures.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the office at least three days per week.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the jurisdiction of the hiring office.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating M&A and private equity documentation.
• Familiarity with middle-market deal structures.
• Strong business sense and maturity.
