Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior associate with 4-8 years of experience to join the Technology Transactions, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Practice Group in Tallahassee, FL. The candidate will focus on technology transactions in the health care and life sciences sectors.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial technology agreements, including software and SaaS agreements.
• Handle data licensing and use agreements, cloud services agreements, and professional services agreements.
• Advise on strategic collaboration agreements and digital health products and services.
• Provide guidance on privacy and data security laws applicable to health care and health technology.
• Manage transactions independently and collaborate with senior attorneys and clients.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in technology transactions.
• Experience with health technology and artificial intelligence matters preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active Bar membership required.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.

Skills

• Strong writing, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize effectively.
