Duties

• Manage substantive legal work, including drafting, regulatory research, and client communication for ongoing matters.

• Develop competency in core practice areas such as federal import/export compliance, OFAC sanctions, and FDA regulatory matters.
• Participate in thought leadership, networking, and business development activities to elevate professional and firm visibility.
• Collaborate with the managing attorney and team in a structured, well-run remote environment to support client needs.

Requirements

• Active bar membership in good standing; graduation from an accredited U.S. law school is required.
• Minimum of four years of legal experience; this is not an entry-level position.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills with the ability to produce well-reasoned work product independently.
• Excellent judgment and professional communication skills for managing client expectations and representing the firm.
• Self-directed and accountable, with the discipline to manage deadlines and flag issues without daily supervision.
• Willingness to learn specialized practice areas and interest in business development and client origination.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Multi-state or federal bar admission is a plus.

• Expertise in federal regulatory frameworks, including U.S. Customs, FDA, OFAC, BIS, CFIUS, and FMC matters.
