Job Overview

Duties

• Manage a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including large domestic and international portfolios.



• Handle proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and resolve trademark and copyright disputes.



• Address domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and lead anticounterfeiting enforcement efforts.



• Draft and respond to demand letters, provide litigation support, and manage copyright registration processes.



• Negotiate trademark and copyright licensing agreements and technology contracts.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of experience in trademark litigation and TTAB proceedings is a threshold requirement.



• Hold an active bar license in the state corresponding to the office location or commit to obtaining one promptly.



• Demonstrate exceptional judgment, superior interpersonal skills, and the ability to articulate legal strategies effectively.



• Show a proven record of working well under pressure and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active state bar license required or commitment to obtain one.

Skills

• Expertise in intellectual property litigation, including TTAB practice and UDRP proceedings.



• Strong background in drafting legal documents, including demand letters and licensing agreements.



• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys in specialized business units such as Financial Services.



• Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial approach to client service and problem-solving.
