A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney in Glendale, CA to manage and lead an active caseload of state and federal plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation. The role involves providing guidance and oversight to associate attorneys.

Duties

• Develop case strategy and manage litigation processes.
• Conduct and respond to complex discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive and class certification motions.
• Lead settlement negotiations.
• Appear in court for hearings and trials.
• Mentor junior attorneys on litigation best practices.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Oregon or pending admission to the Oregon Bar.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience with discovery, oral advocacy, and motion practice.
• Prior experience with class actions and complex litigation is a plus.
• Ability to travel on occasion.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.
