Duties

• Support and assist in litigating nursing home negligence cases.
• Handle a high-volume caseload with limited oversight.
• Evaluate the merits of individual claims and work directly with clients.
• Conduct depositions and draft pleadings and discovery responses.
• Research legal issues for briefs and pleadings.
• Review medical records and discovery materials.

Requirements

• Three to five years of litigation experience required.
• Experience in Plaintiff's Nursing Home or Medical Malpractice preferred.
• Strong analytical, drafting, writing, research, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven practice.
• Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
• Experience in negotiating, settling, litigating, and trying cases.
• Judicial Clerkship is a plus.
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
