A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will independently manage a variety of commercial and civil matters in state and federal courts, with a focus on litigation and arbitration. This role involves handling real estate, business, and construction disputes.

Duties

• Draft pleadings and written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Engage in motion practice, mediations, and appeals.
• Conduct jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and evidentiary hearings.
• Manage temporary injunction proceedings and contempt motions.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Texas; federal court admission preferred.
• Admission to the Florida Bar is a plus.
• Demonstrated trial and arbitration experience.
• Experience with international disputes is advantageous.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Education

• Graduate degree in law.
