Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel for Network and Infrastructure Commercial Transactions in the United States (Remote). This role involves providing strategic legal counsel on complex commercial transactions related to global cloud computing, content delivery, and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to support procurement and infrastructure matters.

Duties

• Advise business, procurement, and engineering teams on complex commercial contracting and infrastructure matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate data center leases, colocation, bandwidth, and connectivity agreements.
• Identify and advise on infrastructure transaction risks, including liability and data security.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and negotiation positions.
• Support strategic supplier relationships and manage contract interpretations and disputes.
• Provide legal advice on transaction strategy and risk management.
• Monitor legal and market developments relevant to network infrastructure and related technology transactions.
• Provide legal support in other commercial transactions as needed.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state jurisdiction.
• 8 years of legal practice with experience in technology, cloud, and network infrastructure legal issues.
• Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
• Experience dealing with global clients and international regulatory issues.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing outside counsel and collaborating on cross-functional projects.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing in at least one relevant U.S. state jurisdiction.
