A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join its Labor & Employment practice in Philadelphia, PA. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, national platform, handling complex employment matters and developing strong client relationships under the guidance of experienced attorneys.

Duties

• Represent employers in labor and employment matters before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.



• Develop client relationships, provide legal counsel, and manage litigation and negotiations effectively.



• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests, and develop case strategies.



• Take and defend depositions, and assist with hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.



• Advise clients on employment-related legal issues, risks, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.



• Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard client interests while contributing to firm culture.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.



• In good standing and eligible to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.



• 3-6 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, preferably representing employers.



• Experience with case management, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.



• Strong critical thinking skills and a solid academic background.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.

• Excellent communicator, negotiator, public speaker, and problem solver.



• Knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive with the ability to work independently.



• Detail-oriented, organized, and proficient with technology and Microsoft Office Suite.



• Experience with iManage and/or OneDrive is a plus.



• Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and work collaboratively.
