A law firm seeks a Leveraged Finance Associate to join their Capital Solutions Team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or debt capital markets.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client matters.
• Prepare clear and accurate legal documents and correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals across practices.
• Exercise sound professional judgment and develop practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
• Manage and support complex transactional matters from inception to closing.
• Conduct legal due diligence and develop recommendations for clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and transaction documents.
• Support deal execution and manage transaction timelines.
• Participate in negotiations with various stakeholders.
• Coordinate and manage transaction closings.
• Analyze regulatory requirements and compliance considerations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of leveraged finance experience.
• Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of New York.
