Duties: Reporting to the FAS Associate Dean for Research Administration, will responsible for leadership of the human subjects research protection program and oversight of human subject studies conducted at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. area schools (FAS, HKS, HBS, SEAS, and HLS). Responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and training programs to ensure the ethical conduct of research and compliance with applicable federal regulations, state laws, and institutional policies governing human subject research. Reviews and approves research protocols involving human subjects. The Director reviews adverse events and reports of noncompliance to determine appropriate resolutions and responses. Leads accreditation processes, maintains a Quality Improvement Program (QIP), and educational initiatives for the University area research community. Works with institutional officials, regulatory agencies, investigators and research staff, other University administrative offices, and various other public constituencies.
