Construction Accountant
Job Description
Coordinate and perform month-end and year-end close, Review accounting documents and journal entries to make sure accuracy of financial reports.
Prepare financial forecasts, budget, and management reports
Analyze financial data and reports, and provide decision-making support to the executive management team
Implement and maintain internal control procedures, monitor workflow to identify opportunity of process improvement.
Oversee loan draw process and maintain relationships with lenders and banks to ensure timely fund disbursement
Work closely with Sub-Contractors to ensure they are submitting all required paperwork
Work closely with Sub-Contractors to make sure they understand the billing process and that all Suppliers are paid, which may include facilitating payments on their behalf
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, CPA preferred
At least 3 years of experience in accounting in the construction industry.
Public accounting experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial analysis
Excellent communication skill
Fluent English and Spanish
