Job Description
Understand and comply with all requirements defined within company documents to include: Post and General Orders, plans, policies, procedures.
Performing various day-to-day supervisory responsibilities including preparing shift scheduled, training replacement security officers, disciplining when necessary and reporting to proper chain of command.
Ensuring security guards arrive on time and are prepared to begin work
Observing the security guard's work habits, appearance, overall performance, and verifying applicable patrol.
Observe and report all offenses/incidents
Complete all reports and paperwork as required
Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors
Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors
Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations
Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols

Maintaining high visibility, answer routine questions for directions and handle minor problems.
Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies
Secure entrances and exits during emergencies
Control keys and lock combinations
Communicate and remain accessible via two way radio or company issued cellular phone
Understand and comply with all requirements defined within company documents to include: Post and General Orders, plans, policies, procedures.
Observe and report all offenses/incidents
Complete all reports and paperwork as required
Qualifications:
Must be mentally alert and capable of exercising good judgment, implementing instructions, and assimilating necessary specialized training.
Must have the ability to speak, read and write the English language.
Must have the ability to understand and carry out oral and written direction and write accurate and clear reports
Requirements:
Basic:
Must be a U.S. citizen or be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen examination within six (6) months prior to their assignment and present the results for inspection. The screen must have the ability to detect the use of: marijuana, cocaine, heroin, amphetamines, opiates, and benzodiazepines.
Education & Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
2 years supervisory experience
Licensing, Permits & Certifications:
Must have a valid California Driver's License or a California Identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles and carry it in their possession while on duty.
Certified in First Aid
Certified in CPR
Certified in AED
Current Guard Registration
card
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Must be fully capable of performing the full scope of security work requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion under either normal or emergency conditions including prolonged walking, sitting, standing and running
