Position Overview Siemens Energy Product Lifecycle Management US Team is looking forna Teamcenter Administrator with a strong background in Teamcenter SystemnArchitecture including installation/deployments and configuration. Position isnpart of the Siemens Energy Product Lifecycle Management Value Center reportingnto the US Product Lifecycle Management Value Center Manager.  As part of our global team, you will benresponsible for supporting both Product Lifecycle Management projects andnday-to-day management of environments across our multiple systems.   Overall expectation is to leverage yournTeamcenter expertise driving system standardization resulting in globallynsustainable system.  Responsibilities n Install and configure Teamcenter (alln layers, all modules, and interfaces & integrations, as needed) for alln environments: development, Quality Assurance & Productionn Perform patching and deployments.n Working Off-business hours is oftenn required for urgent production systemic issue and deploying systemn changes.n Minimal Travel Requirements (Less thann 2 Trips per year)n Provide recommendations Product Lifecycle Management Architecture/Design/Sizing  n Perform tests for environmentn integrity and performance.n Continuously improve and optimizen system architectural elements, such as FMS/FSC, Enterprise servers &n pool managers, web servers, distribution, clients, translations servers,n etc. for enhanced performance and scalability.n Act as Level 2/3 Teamcenter Expert ton resolve key systemic production issues sent from application support teamn (Level 2 & 1). Off-business hours involvement is often required forn urgent production systemic issue and deploying system changes.n Monitor system regularly; ensure thatn the Teamcenter services & automated scripts scheduled on the servern machines are properly running, create and develop scripts or 3rd partyn solutions to enable effective system health monitoring.n Perform Teamcenter systemn administrator activities, such as resolving multi-site issues, removingn process & data locksn Develop Processes and Documentation ton assure the system is sustainablen Provide Linux System Administrationn including:no   File system monitoringo   User creation/modificationo   Crons and scriptingn Articulate solution ideas withn absolute clarity - good communication and presentation skillsnRequired Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experiencen Bachelor’s Degree in the field ofn engineering or computer science, or applicable experiencen 5 n Years of demonstrated Product Lifecyclen Management /Teamcentern experience in architecture, installation, and deployments, as well as Teamcentern System Administration & Build Supportn·       Strong troubleshooting andnproblem-solving skills to proactively identify issues, find root cause andnidentify both temporary and permanent solutions·       A working knowledgenof IT operating systems, and system administration – Specifically Windows andnLinux-based platformsn Abilityn to comprehend complex software, hardware and networking conceptsn Abilityn to work in a global team with various cultures and a variety of differentn people/roles with varying technical backgroundsn Strongn written and verbal communication to explain and document issues,n resolutions, and procedures using standard Microsoft Office and toolsn Eagernessn to learn new skills as required for changing technology landscapen Managen and organize multiple tasks with frequent interruptionsn Maintainn confidentiality and secure classified datan Qualifiedn Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now orn in the future for employment in the United StatesnPreferred Knowledge/Skills,nEducation, and Experiencen Expertn level experience in Operations and Maintenance activities of ITn infrastructuren Teamcentern data model, customization, workflow development, and data importn Experiencen supporting ERP/MRP systems including T4S experience, configuring/mapping,n etc.n Additionaln Teamcenter Applications including:n n Active Workspacen Teamcenter Manufacturingn Shop Floor Connectn n·       Working knowledge of Oracle orncomparable RDBMSWork experience in Agile ProjectnEnvironmentJIRA experiencePrior knowledge of Siemensnapplications, customers, processes, and productsSiemensnGas and Power (GP) is a global pacesetter in energy, helping customers to meetnthe evolving demands of today’s industries and societies.
