Senior Corporate Counsel Technology/Telecom

Profile

Global Technology Company seeking a senior level attorney to focus on commercial transactions in the company’s operator services group. This is a commercial transactional role negotiating and drafting contracts to provide engineering services and products. The attorney will work independently but collaboratively as part of a small and fast-paced legal department. The ideal candidate will have both law firm and in-house experience, exposure working in a global services organization and at least 12 years of experience.
Requirements:
•JD or equivalent, with top-notch academic credentials.
•Draft, review and negotiate a variety of customer commercial transactions including agreements for software development and licensing, service and consulting agreements, system integration, inbound license agreements, partnership and reseller agreements.
•Prior experience in a technology services and technology outsourcing environment, particularly focused on carriers
•Experience advising clients on structuring complex international commercial transactions, particularly pertaining to partnerships.
•Experience in intellectual property matters and IPR best practices.
•Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, the development of policies and procedures for commercial agreements and develop and provide training to business and sales groups.
•Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking and financial background.
•Organization skills and ability to juggle numerous projects under pressure.
•Superior English language written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, dynamic and highly team-oriented.
•Commitment to professionalism and collegiality is required.
•Willingness to travel.
