Personal Injury Paralegal
The candidate will be responsible for: meeting and communicating with clients and medical providers, requesting and organizing records and documents, working with the attorney through the entire pre-litigation process. Responsibilities also include drafting disclosures, discovery and basic pleadings, along with preparing files for hearings and trials for litigation. Other duties include organization and maintenance of both electronic and hard files, scheduling, bates labeling and case management with supervising attorneys. Must be proficient in the Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence, WestLaw, ICCES and all Microsoft programs. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to prioritize and meet strict deadlines. Should have 5+ years of litigation experience, and personal injury experience is highly preferred.
