I am adding a room to my house to be used mostly as an office, but in addition to my desk, I want a fold-out sofa or maybe a murphy bed in it so guests can use the room to sleep in from time to time. I am looking for interior design and furniture layout ideas, and ultimately a 3D type rendering. The room is the one labeled office, to the right of the front door. I have uploaded drawings, the electrical plan, and truss drawings. The ceiling will be 106 high around the perimeter, but there is tray ceiling so the height in the center will be higher, as shown on the truss drawings. Also attached is an exterior rendering, just FYI. Theres a small piece of wall just inside the entrance to the office which we can move closer to the door opening to make room for a bigger closet or open filing cabinet area. the ceiling height in that nook is 8, not 106.
