Assistant General Counsel
The candidate will provide legal advice and guidance regarding finance and procurement, leasing, licensing, sponsored research, export control, real estate, construction, and other matters relating to business law, as well as public information requests relating to business, finance and transactional matters. The assistant general counsel will have direct client contact with special emphasis on purchasing and financial affairs departments and administrators within the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Provide legal advice, assist in the drafting of policies and procedures, and recommend courses of action to resolve legal, procedural, or administrative issues in compliance with all applicable legal standards. Should have 1+ year of experience with demonstrated achievement, and a commitment to public service and specifically the mission of higher education. JD from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association is required.
