Judicial Administrator
The candidate is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the student conduct process based on the philosophies of restorative justice and inclusive excellence. Oversees the Office of the Judicial Administrator (OJA) in administering the application of the Campus Code of Conduct (Code), a campus policy governing community conduct in order to protect and promote the University community’s pursuit of its educational goals. Responsible for administering the student conduct process in a manner that ensures consistent and fair application of University policy and respectful treatment of all participants. Forges productive working partnerships with students, colleagues across the University, and the community at large to enhance overall student safety across the larger University community. Serves as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for students. In this role, the JA receives incident reports, oversees sanctions compliance for student respondents found responsible for policy violation(s), and supports the University’s Title IX compliance efforts.
