Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated, entry-level litigation associate attorney (0-2 years) to join their San Diego, CA office full time. The successful candidate will work alongside lead trial attorneys on serious personal injury cases, including auto, premises, dog bite, and wrongful death.

Duties

• Take depositions and prepare and argue motions.
• Interact with clients and participate in mediations.
• Appear in court, including at trial.
• Manage caseloads through every step of the litigation process.

Requirements

• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Solid work ethic and commitment to building a career as a trial attorney.
• Litigation-oriented internships, clinical programs, clerkships, mock trial, or trial advocacy experience are plusses but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar.
