Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Senior Counsel in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax credit finance and development, particularly in real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St. Louis are strongly preferred, but applications from other locations, including virtual, are welcome.

Duties

• Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters.
• Manage complex real estate finance transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax credit regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in tax credit finance.
• Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.
• Experience with New Markets Tax Credits preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing.
