A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel for its San Diego, CA office. The role involves defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims and providing strategic advice to employers on labor law issues.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
• Handle class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, and wage-and-hour cases.
• Class Action/PAGA experience preferred.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with first-chair experience.
• Current CA Bar admission in good standing.
• Supervisory experience over associates and paralegals.
• In-depth understanding of state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar.
