Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Senior Associate Attorney to join its national litigation risk management and toxic/mass tort litigation teams in Wilmington, DE. The successful candidate will work closely with litigation teams to manage and oversee cases for national and regional clients across the country.

Duties

• Manage cases proactively from start to finish in both state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.
• Provide frequent client reporting.
• Coordinate and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations.
• Prepare for and attend trials.
• Work closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in any state; bar admission in Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey is a plus.
• 5-10 years of litigation experience; toxic tort experience preferred but not required.
• Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional work ethic.
• Strong writing skills and ability to manage caseload proactively.
• Strong research ability and written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to client development.

Education

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in any state.
